Event Alert for Saturday April 13! Your Yard is Nature's Best Hope: 10 Ways to Help Pollinators and Birds with Leslie Inman and Vicki Mann

If you live in Atlanta set aside THIS Saturday, April 13 from 11:00am-1:00pm for a Free eye-opening presentation at Lost Corner Nature Preserve called Your Yard is Nature’s Best Hope: 10 Ways to Help Pollinators and Birds. Leslie Inman, founder of the popular Pollinator Friendly Yards on Facebook and nature author, and Vicki Mann, co-founder of Quiet GA share how no yard is too small to help nature flourish! Whether you’re already familiar with Doug Tallamy or have never heard of him you’ll meet like-minded nature lovers and walk away with renewed inspiration to make a difference.

The presentation is free, but space is limited in the historic and cozy cottage where the event takes place. Registration helps ensure there is space for everyone. Register HERE.

The weather will be sunny and warm on Saturday - a perfect day to make plans to meander through the grounds of this peaceful 24-acre Sandy Spring's City Park with walking trails, including a short ADA accessible trail. I’m planning my day around this event and hope to see you there!

This is the view from Lost Corner Nature Preserve cottage!

I'm elevating this worthwhile program here because Leslie and Vicki's lecture typically reaches capacity soon after being announced - but this was a recent addition and April is such a busy time of year that there are still a few spot available! Please share to help get the words out. The video below was taken when the Friends of Lost Corner hosted my presentation Essential Elements of a Habitat Yard last month - I was too keyed up about speaking to spend time exploring the grounds. I plan to enjoy it more this Saturday!
